NURSE, TECHNICIANS PROGRAM ON PCI OPTIMIZATION:
A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO FFR CORONARY PHYSIOLOGY AND OCT IMAGING
Target Audience
Cath lab nurses and technicians who want to have an essential understanding of FFR and OCT and are supporting physicians using FFR functional assessment and intracoronary imaging technology to optimize PCI procedure strategy planning and PCI outcome.
FACULTY
Prof. Lampros K. Michalis
Dr. Michail Papafaklis
Course Objectives
At the end of the program, attending nurses and technicians will:
§Have an advanced understanding of FFR coronary physiology and basic understanding of OCT imaging concepts and their clinical relevance
§Have insights in procedure steps, tips and tricks and pitfalls for FFR and OCT – includes hands-on
§Attend live cases
§Exchange experience between different teams
After the training program, the successful participant will:
§Be able to support physicians performing FFR and OCT in daily practice
§Be able to interpret OCT images (basic) and perform basic troubleshooting for OCT and FFR
§Be able to share acquired knowledge with their local colleagues and support learning meetings
